Woh mili padi thi zameen par
Lagaa kuch zulm beeti thi us naazneen par
Boli halke se, "Huzoor humne bahut kuch sahaa hai,
Par kisise kuch bhi nahin kahaa hai"

Uthaaya use, seene se lagaaya
Pyaar kiya, palkon-pe bithaaya
Aadat padgayi, woh sar pe chad gayi
Har baat pe uski apeksha had se badh-gayi
Aakhir use sahi pehchaan-na hi pada
Pyaar ko bhi aakhir haar maan-na hi pada

Behke hue humko akal phir-aaya
Sar par se uthaakar use zameen par giraaya
Chala main phir wahan se, kuch kahaa na kiya
Bas do pal me ek aawaaz sunaayi diya

Boli rahi thi kisi se halke, "Huzoor humne bahut kuch sahaa hai,
