I endeavour to maintain a clutter free, simple reading environment that takes just a few minutes to read a complete story. This blog is free for all. One way you could 'repay' me if you like the story you have read is to refer others to this blog and the specific story. I would appreciate that kind of word-of-mouth (or its modern equivalent - email, link, Facebook posting) advertising, since it is the best kind. Kindly do to the extent you can without feeling uncomfortable or like a spammer.

Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy reading!

A New Economic Trend in The East and The West

Trump's economic policies seem to indicate that a new middle class segment will be formed by the productive section of the society - those that produce goods and services directly used and useful to consumers. The entrepreneur class will grow rich as always and be rewarded for taking risks as expected in a highly capitalist society. The current middle class and upper middle-class comprised of bloated bureaucracy and regulators who are non-productive or non-essential will be trimmed down. The number of new and viable businesses should grow dramatically when Trump's policies are in place. They remind me so much of what is happening in India now - with the difference that the 'bloated middle' in India is overwhelmingly plain, unabashed corruption. This current 'deep state' in the USA and India fight and resist hard - with the help of a corrupt media. China is really leading the way in this trend.

What do you think?
