Do you like what I write?

Dear Reader,

Do you enjoy reading the stories or thoughts I write and post on this blog? If, and only if you answer 'Yes' to this question, I would like to request you to send a link to this or my blog http://yarnsfromalex.blogspot.com to others amongst your friends or family that you might like to share the story with. I know, it might be a bit of an effort. You might not feel it makes much of a difference, but it does make a lot of difference to me.

You see, I started to write initially to just get my thoughts and feelings out. I simply write what stirs me from within. I did not expect to earn or make a living out of it. But now, I am in the situation where I do rely on this too to earn a living. This blog is still free for all to read. But if more people read it, the chances are more that some among them will want to buy the book(s) I write either for themselves or as gifts to give others.

I would like to rely on true word-of-mouth (or its modern form of forwards in an email, posting on webpage or Facebook) to spread the word about my book, relying on each instance of genuine appreciation by a real reader. I have tried to keep away from intrusive advertising on the blog site to give you all an uncluttered, simple read without trying to hawk 20 different things from shaving kits to speed dates on the page that you read.

I would appreciate it, if each time you read a story that you like, you make an effort to forward it to as many people as you can, without making yourself uncomfortable as a spammer. Please send to people that you directly know or those that know you. If you liked specific postings or stories from the past, let others know and send them a reference or the label for the story from my blog. It will be highly appreciated and it is one way you can 'repay' me!
